Start with the exact material combination
Before cleaning, open the product page and identify every stated material. A method that seems appropriate for cord may be unsuitable for a wood clasp or a pearl closure on the same bracelet.
Three current WAIIQI examples show the difference:

- Enchanted Forest Bracelet NāheleKai: recycled nylon cord with solid brass beads.

If your piece is a different design, use its own Piece details rather than applying these examples across the collection.
A simple everyday cleaning routine
For ordinary surface dust or marks, begin with a soft cloth lightly dampened with clean water.
- Remove the bracelet and examine the cord, closure and decorative details.
- Dampen—not soak—a soft, clean cloth.
- Wipe the cord and solid components gently, using separate clean areas of the cloth as dirt lifts.
- Avoid force around knots, joins, beads and moving parts.
- Leave the bracelet off the wrist until it is dry to the touch.

Avoid inventing a heavy-duty wash routine from the word “paracord.” Product names and materials do not automatically establish suitability for machine washing, detergents, chemicals, prolonged immersion or high-friction activity.
Caring for solid brass details
The Enchanted Forest Bracelet NāheleKai uses recycled nylon cord with solid brass beads. The Ocean Whispers Bracelet HaumānaKai also includes solid brass beads, alongside its pearl closure.
For routine care, follow the same soft, damp-cloth instruction and then let the piece dry fully. Avoid abrasive pads or forceful polishing around the cord because a method aimed at metal can mark or weaken adjacent fibres. WAIIQI does not currently publish a product-specific chemical-polish instruction for these pieces, so a stronger treatment should not be assumed.
Caring for handmade wood closures
Wood appears in several WAIIQI closures, including Wave Rider's handmade rosewood clasp. Wipe wood with the cloth rather than saturating it, and remove any remaining surface moisture with a dry, soft area of the cloth.
Do not assume that a generic wood oil, household cleaner or jewellery dip is appropriate. The product's verified Piece details do not specify one. If the wood changes noticeably or the clasp no longer moves as expected, stop using the piece and ask WAIIQI for guidance rather than forcing the mechanism.
Caring for a commercially cultured freshwater pearl closure
Ocean Whispers is one of the few WAIIQI pieces whose verified materials include a commercially cultured freshwater pearl. Its closure combines that pearl with recycled nylon cord and solid brass beads.
Use a gentle touch around the pearl and its connection points. Wipe it with a soft, lightly damp cloth and avoid abrasive rubbing. Do not apply a cleaning method intended only for brass or cord across the pearl. Because this is a mixed-material piece, the most cautious method must suit the most sensitive stated component.
Freshwater pearl language should not be applied to every WAIIQI design. The verified pearl pieces are Diamond Wave Rider, LāhuiWāhine and Ocean Whispers.
When to remove the bracelet
